Safety Program overview
The Chambers Truss Safety Program contains, conforms to, but is not limited to the industry specific safety program developed by the Florida Division of Safety for Structural Wood Members (Standard Industrial Classification Code 2439). The manual is available for inspection.The purpose of the SAFE TRUSS PARTNERSHIP is to establish a dialogue with and provide education to builders, framers, truss installers, crane operators, engineers, building officials, other truss plants, SBCA, and Chambers Truss employees, and others about Truss Collapse Prevention.The Safety Program Manager is Licensed Practical Nurse and has National Safety Council Professional Safety Certification.
Our Safety Inspector monitors equipment and personnel for safety compliance every day. For example, our Safety Inspector makes sure everyone wears safety glasses. The Safety Inspector also does our OSHA lift truck training. Our Safety Inspector is currently training for National Safety Council Professional Safety Certification.
